Professional Tennis Registry focus on the role of the Coach Developer to facilitate coach learning

e.t.c coaching consultants have been delighted to partner with the Professional Tennis Registry to help evolve the PTR Level 1 Coach Certification to ensure it is underpinned by current best practice in learning program design. The six-day program adopts a blended approach to coach learning with 6-days being facilitated in-person both on and off court.

Critical to the high quality learning agenda on and off those courts are the PTR's team of Coach Developers. Their ability to lead, support, facilitate, encourage critical reflection in and on coaching practice and evaluate and assess coach learning is key.

e.t.c were delighted to work with this team recently at the tail end of the PTR Symposium on the beautiful Hilton Head Island and the Van Der Meer Tennis center. The purpose of the two days was to introduce Coach Developers to the concept and practice of adult learning and enable them to facilitate elements of the Level 1 program to their peers acting as coaches/ players and thinking like Coach Developers.

We are delighted to continue to support PTR's efforts moving forwards because #qualitycoachingmatters #bettercoachesbetterathletes
